Projekt Beschreibung
Das Medium Wasser fesselt die Menschen seit jeher. Es gleicht einem eigenen Kosmos, zu dem der Mensch nur bedingt Zugang hat. Wir fühlen uns fremd in dieser Welt, die bedrohlich wirkt, aber auch unsere Fantasie anregt und wo die Grenzen zwischen Wirklichkeit und Mythos schnell verschwimmen.
Die Idee war, in die Welt unter der Wasserfläche einzutauchen ohne selbst unter Wasser zu gehen und der Kamera die Bildführung zu überlassen. Die Bilder sind eine Kombination aus Planung und Zufall, geplanter Zufall, wie das Leben so ist, bei Tag und bei Nacht.
Ort der Fotos ist der Wannsee am Rande von Berlin.

The medium of water has always captivated people. It is like a cosmos of its own to which people have only limited access.We feel alien in this world that looks menacing but also stimulates our imagination and where the boundaries between reality and myth quickly become blurred.
The idea was to be immersed in the world under the water’s surface without actually going under water and and then being guided by the camera.The images are a combination of planning and happenstance, planned happenstance, just the way life is, day and night.
The location of the photos is the Wannsee on the outskirts of Berlin.
